People are getting laid off, fired, and just simply having a hard time finding work. The last thing someone needs to hear is “join my seven thousand dollar home business” and all your problems will disappear.
Consideration #1 - The Current Economy Factor
Home business owners need to consider the economy factor for the simple fact of showing compassion to the general population. Operating a successful business takes time, effort, and sometimes a little money to help put a boost in your business. During this economy, people are looking for as much value with minimum risk; not just a website. Therefore, “the economy” factor must be considered during this review.
Consideration #2 - The Already in Business Factor
Did you know that there are millions online who are operating some type of home business, and your business may not perhaps be the number one opportunity? Yes, it’s true… I don’t believe in that and that’s why you must consider the already in business factor.
When I speak to someone, I inform them to evaluate the major elements of any opportunity to give themselves the best advantage to succeed, which includes supply and demand. If the demand is not significant, then you may have a short term opportunity. Therefore, the “already in business” factor must be considered.
Personally, I have my top ten attributes I look for before I commit, which include having a sponsor or mentor that is genuine. Just remember to always do your due diligence before jumping into any business.
